Can computers overpower the forces of nature?

Everybody sees a situation in a different way.

What is more powerful; technology or nature? Why?

"Nature is more powerful. An earthquake can do way may more damage."

"Computers have way less power than nature."

"I think that nature is more powerful for several reasons. One being that the complexities of it are more complicated than man can ever comprehend or begin to understand. I also think that the forces of nature have more impact and cause greater effect. I think in some ways though science is beginning to overtake nature. For example; eroding at rock takes hundreds of years in nature. However machines ("technology") can break away at rock in seconds."

This week I have kind of a joke and fun styled opinion. Would you allow Chimpanzees/Gorillas/Apes etc. to be integrated into our civilization if possible?

"No. They stink. They poop all over the place with no bladder control. Hard to carry on conversations with however they are good listeners"

"No, I think its stupid."

"No. Theyre obnoxious. They hurl feces at people"

"I feel that in a situation where we could train chimps to do simple human tasks i.e. laundry, dishes, vacuuming that we could have them successfully working for us and we as the human race could enjoy a much easier, much more fun life. The chimps would in return be rewarded with a healthy strong community. They would be kept comfortable in a small Amish like community were they would enjoy partial self government."
